Understanding and Editing Beaver Themer Layouts for Headers and Footers
Learn what Beaver Themer layouts are, how to edit your site’s header and footer, and why they matter for branding and navigation.
Your website uses Beaver Themer layouts to control global design elements like the header and footer. Instead of editing each page individually, Themer ensures your header and footer remain consistent across the entire site.
What Are Themer Layouts?
Beaver Themer extends Beaver Builder by allowing you to design templates that apply site-wide. Two of the most important templates are:
-
Header Layout – The top section of your site, including your logo, navigation menu, and sometimes contact links or social icons.
-
Footer Layout – The bottom section of your site, often used for contact info, quick links, social media, and copyright text.
By editing a Themer layout once, the change is applied everywhere—keeping your branding and navigation consistent.
Why Are They Important?
-
Branding: The header usually contains your logo, which is the first thing visitors see.
-
Navigation: Menus in the header and footer guide users to important content.
-
Trust & Compliance: The footer often includes privacy policies, terms, and contact info.
-
Consistency: Global layouts save time and ensure the look stays uniform across the site.

-
Always preview changes on desktop and mobile—headers and footers adjust responsively.
-
Avoid clutter—these sections should support navigation, not overwhelm users.
