How to Use Saved Rows, Modules, and Page Templates in BeaverBuilder

Learn how to save and reuse rows, modules, and page templates in BeaverBuilder to keep your site consistent and easy to update.

BeaverBuilder allows you to save and reuse design elements across your website. This is especially helpful when you want consistent layouts, buttons, or banners without rebuilding them from scratch. You can save rows, modules, and even entire page templates.

What Can Be Saved?

  • Saved Rows – Groups of modules inside a row (e.g., a call-to-action section with text and a button).
  • Saved Modules – Individual content elements (e.g., a styled button, text block, or image).
  • Page Templates – Full-page designs you can apply to new pages.

Step 1: Create and Save a Row or Module

  1. Open a page in BeaverBuilder.
  2. Hover over the row or module you want to save.
  3. Click the wrench icon (settings).
  4. In the lower-right corner of the settings panel, click Save As.
  5. Give your row or module a clear name (e.g., “Blue CTA Row” or “Register Button”).
  6. Choose whether to save as:
    • Global – Any edit made to the saved item will update everywhere it’s used.
    • Standard – Edits apply only to the instance you’re working on.
  7. Click Save.

Step 2: Create and Save a Page Template

  1. Design your page in BeaverBuilder.
  2. Click the Tools menu (top left).
  3. Select Save Template.
  4. Give the template a descriptive name (e.g., “Team Page Layout” or “Event Landing Page”).
  5. Your template will now be available in the Templates tab when creating new pages.

Step 3: Add a Saved Row, Module, or Template to a Page

  1. Open a page in BeaverBuilder.
  2. Click the plus (+) icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Choose the correct tab:
    • Saved – to see saved rows and modules.
    • Templates – to apply a saved page template.
  4. Drag your saved row/module into the page or apply the template.
  5. Make edits if needed, then click Save.

Best Practices

  • Use Global Rows/Modules for items that should always match across your site (e.g., “Register Now” button styles, footer banners).
  • Use Standard Rows/Modules if you want to reuse the design but allow edits on each page.
  • Keep your saved items organized with clear, consistent names.
  • Review saved templates before publishing to ensure they’re mobile-friendly.

Why This Matters

Saved rows, modules, and templates make your site:

  • Faster to update – no need to rebuild common sections.
  • Consistent – design stays uniform across all pages.
  • Scalable – easy to launch new pages using proven layouts.
