How to Upload and Link PDFs (Schedules, Forms, Guides)
Convert Word files to PDFs and upload them to your site. Link them to buttons or text so visitors can easily view or download.
PDFs are the best way to share important documents like schedules, waivers, and guides on your website. Unlike Word or Doc files, PDFs look the same on every device, can’t be easily altered, and load quickly in browsers.
Why Convert Word/Doc Files to PDF First?
-
Consistency: PDFs keep their formatting, fonts, and layout across all devices. Word files may look different depending on the software version.
-
Security: PDFs are harder to edit than Word documents, so your official forms stay intact.
-
Accessibility: Most browsers open PDFs directly—no need for visitors to download Microsoft Word.
-
Professionalism: Sharing files as PDFs gives a polished, consistent appearance.
How to Convert:
-
In Word, go to File > Save As > PDF.
-
In Google Docs, go to File > Download > PDF Document (.pdf).
-
Use free online tools like Smallpdf.

Keep PDFs under 2 MB for faster loading.
-
Open PDFs in a new tab to keep visitors on your site.
