How to Add Call-to-Action Buttons

Learn how to create and style call-to-action buttons in BeaverBuilder that guide visitors to register, donate, or contact you.

Call-to-action (CTA) buttons are one of the most effective ways to guide visitors to take action on your website—whether that’s registering for a program, making a donation, or contacting your organization. BeaverBuilder makes it easy to add these buttons anywhere on your site.

Open the Page in BeaverBuilder

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.

  2. Go to Pages and select the page you want to edit.

  3. Click Beaver Builder to launch the visual editor.

Add a Button Module

  1. Click the plus (+) icon in the top right corner.

  2. Drag the Button Module into the section where you want your CTA to appear.

Customize the Button

  • Button Text: Add a clear label such as:

    • “Register Now”

    • “Donate Today”

    • “Contact Us”

  • Link: Paste the correct URL:

    • Registration page

    • Donation portal

    • Contact form or email address

  • Target: If linking outside your site, check Open in New Window.

Style the Button

  1. Go to the Style tab in the Button Module settings.

  2. Adjust:

    • Color (use a brand color that stands out).

    • Size (large enough to be noticeable).

    • Alignment (centered or aligned with content).

  3. Keep button styles consistent across the site.

Add Multiple Buttons (Optional)

  • Use the Button Group Module if you want several CTAs side by side (e.g., “Register” | “Donate” | “Contact”).

  • Each button can have its own label, link, and style.

Save and Publish

  • Click Save on the Button Module.

  • In the top right, click Done > Publish to make your button live.

Best Practices for CTAs

  • Use action-oriented text (“Register Now” instead of just “Register”).

  • Place buttons in visible locations like the homepage banner, program pages, or footer.

  • Limit to one primary CTA per page to avoid overwhelming users.

  • Use consistent colors for primary actions across the site.
